Cornell & Diehl Haunted Bookshop Review

August 24, 2016

Description: C&D's Haunted Bookshop is an non-aromatic blend of Burley, Kentucky, Perique, and Virginia

Strength: Medium

Flavor: This is a burley-based blend so there is no flavoring added to the tobacco.

Tin Note: A hay  and earth aroma.

Tasting Notes: First off, this is a non-aromatic, burley tobacco and so you have to be a burley fan to enjoy this. However, if you like burley, you will love Haunted Bookshop. It is a dry, cool-smoking tobacco. It has a heavy, earthy taste that is very pleasant. Burley is the primary taste with a touch of perique coming through on the finish.

If you are an aromatic smoker and are getting burned out, give this one a try. If you are a burley smoker then you should love this.

Overall Opinion:love smoking Haunted Bookshop in a clay pipe because I feel it enhances the taste.  I would say that I am more of an aromatics smoker but I love a good burley blend. When you smoke a lot of aromatics, it is easy to get burned out and then all of the blends start tasting the same.  For me, when the burn out happens I switch over to burley blends. This is one of my favorite. Personally, I

Give it a try and let me know what you think.
