This is the Brigadier Black Sherman's March sold through pipesandcigars.com. I really like this one. The tin note is warm and pleasant with a nice maple syrup smell. The tobacco had the right amount of moisture and was easy to pack. It lit easily and stayed lit throughout my smoke. It is basically a blend on Virginias and Burleys.
It has a very mild and pleasant room note. In the first few puffs I got a good deal of maple syrup and toasty flavors. It is a mild tobacco with a good deal of smoke output. The syrup taste is very nice and not at all overwhelming. Midway through the bowl the maple syrup flavor faded a little leaving a nice toasty rum and tobacco taste. Overall, I really liked this one. I plan on smoking this one at least once per week. I would imagine that this would be a great autumn smoke.
